Groups - Do you live in New York?

Do you live in New York? ItalianPod is looking for a New York group representative.

Dear ItalianPod Users:

I wanted to contact all of you about an opportunity to become one of our New York group representatives.

In the month of July, ItalianPod will be launching a Groups function to bring Italian learners from similar nationality, city, company, school or general interest together. To celebrate the launch, we are focusing on one city - New York.

We wanted to inquire as to whether any of you would be interesting in heading the New York online group. This would involve creating a group (takes a few seconds) and leading discussions that could center around topics such as:

• Italian community in New York
• Italian language meet-ups in New York
• Italian restaurants in New York
• Italian learning resources available in New York
• and so on..

On ItalianPod.com, the whole theme of July will be New York - so one of the focuses of the month will be to direct people to the group you have created. As a result, the candidate will be recognized in New York as the contact person for Italian language information - which is a great way to build contacts of people with similar interests. In addition, if ItalianPod is looking to do any communication in New York, you could be the representative. Both of these are great opportunities from simply managing a group, which you can also enlist the help of moderators with.
