catherinem - News for free subscribers at ItalianPod
I want to share some news with you concerning the free audio.
Beginning in September, only Newbie level audio will be distributed free of charge. Instead of extending resources to an unlimited number of users, we will be focusing on subscribers. Access to all other audio and learning tools beyond the Newbie level will be available only to paid subscribers.
If you are an existing paid subscriber, these changes will not affect your access to the service, except insofar as they are designed to create more value for you. Our plan is to divert more resources towards the premium service through new tools and new formats to help you learn on your terms.
These changes will take Praxis Language to the next level of development, and there is no doubt that it has been your continued support that has made ItalianPod such a tremendous success. We want to sincerely thank you and express our commitment to continually improving.
We welcome your suggestions and feedback.
Catherine and Marco

Hi -
I don't know where the right place to ask this is; but I'm wondering if there is some guidance for how frequently lessons will come out? There seems a real scarcity, esp. at the highest levels.
Granted, you can't cater to everybody, but having only four lessons of upper-intermediate, and nothing at higher levels, puts a rather low ceiling on how useful this service can be for me as a prospective subscriber.
Which isn't to say that what *is* here isn't wonderful.

Shane,
Thanks for your comment. I understand that there is some concern about there not being enough advanced content on the site. This is because we chose to begin with newbie content, building gradually on that. Since we launched in June, we have moved up to upper intermediate, the frequency of newbie lesson publication decreasing and that of more advanced lessons increasing.
Soon we will have lessons at the advanced levels, and upper intermediate lessons will be published with increasing frequency.
I appreciate your patience as we continue to create an archive of lessons for our users. We publish lessons every weekday; our content is forever diversifying and growing!

jitka48-
Only the low quality audio of the newbie lessons will be available for free. Of course during your trial period you will have 7 days free access to lessons of all levels.
