Lemykh, "carcere" and "prigione" are just the same!
"Siamo spiacenti" e "ci dispiace" also have the same meaning, but siamo spiacenti is more formal, so you wouldn't use it while speaking with your friends, but maybe with strangers in a shop or at work.

Ciao a tutti,
I think 'aggravarsi' in the vocabulary section needs to be changed, it's a verb not a masculine noun :D
I think l'ipoteca also needs to changed to a feminine noun, not a masculine noun (I've just checked in other dictionaries and it's listed as feminine)
Good lesson though, I enjoyed it. Looking forward to digging into the rest!
