Ok so remember, in italian [le] forbici is always plural too.
Use forbici dalla punta arrotondata (blunt tipped scissors) if you don't know what you're doing and then switch to forbici affilate (sharb scissors) once you get familiar with them.

How would you conjugate scappiamo into a you-command?
Thanks

Ciao Juliojeffjie!
The you-command (tu) for scappare is: Scappa! (Lei - Scappi!)

Ragazzoaustriaco,
Looks like you've been spending some time working on those imperatives and checking out the grammar guide!
Keep up the good work :)

Is cadi the second person future tense? what would the second person present tense be.
THANKS

"Cadi" is the second person present tense of the verbo "cadere".
"cadrai" is the second person future tense.

Thanks ire_ne,
I thought so. In the expansion tab (above), under
l'attentazione the person says you'll fall. Would'nt that be translated as cadrai ,not cadi?
Thanks for your help.

Ciao Schnauzer1,
Sometimes the present tense in Italian is used to talk about the near future, and I think that's what's happening here:
cadi = literally, "you fall," but in this context, "you will fall"
In the expansion section of the Tickets Please lesson, you can see the same thing with a different verb, comprare (to buy)
Compri il biglietto? Literally, "Do you buy the ticket?" but here it means "Will you buy the ticket?"
I hope that helps:)

Thanks darkwing74, I am sorry if the dialogue was a bit tragico, but we can't always have happy endings, even if we wished so...

kitchen scissors? was that low fat milk at the end? must be tasty!, they must be taking it away from the poor thirsty attacker (might be the last one in the fridge) and he found it and hey, he was thirsty, very thirsty. It is a very happy (tasty ending) in my opinion. Nice work IPod.

I personally find the stab from the scissors disgusting. But I imagine you'll all be remembering this key vocab!
