Non potevo sentire cio' che la macchina diceva. Ha suonato come ha detto "acagia" a me.
I couldn't hear what the machine was saying. It sounded to me like it said "acagia".
"spelling" = "ortografia"?
Anche, ho travato, "scandire lettura per lettura".
Ma, non importa, "come si scrive..." e' sufficiente.

Iv'e just started exploring italianpod and find it very capturing. It must be due to Marco & Catherine and the way they host each podcast. I find it fun to listen to and plan to loisten more. Hopefully I will learn quickly. I would try and post a comment in italian but , io sono newbie con non experience. Do the lessons have dates of when they are created?

You can find the date of when the lessons have been published in the box Lesson Information just below the lesson player in every lesson page of the website.We don't display the date of recording of the podcast if this is what you meant...
So hope to read soon comments in Italian from you! :)

Great and entertaining lesson, as usual. One minor vocab section note: 'notizia' is cut off in pronunciation of 'Ricevere una cattiva notizia.'

@odoacre:
A grammatical note: to say "I liked this game," remember that in Italian the phrase is a bit different from English. It's closer to "the game pleased me." So the game questo gioco is the thing acting on you:
Mi è piaciuto questo gioco.
