Is there a stigma in Italy if you don't use the bidet?What if I just took a shower everyday like I do here? Or are they still concerned about water? When I went to Florence in the 90's I remember my girlfriend saying they only shower every other day or something like that. Does this still hold true? If I don't have body oder, will I not fit in? don't worry jaandlu, shower is fine, but if you want to blend in I advise you to get used to the bidet! At least for the sake of experience.
I think shower frequency ratio is a subjective thing, but I would reckon once every two days is a good average for winter, and once to twice a day in summer.

I'm lost without it!
